The Venue

Ainsworth House & Gardens

The Ainsworth House was built in 1851 by Captain John C. Ainsworth, a successful local merchant & pilot of the Willamette River’s first steamboat. The house sits in the shade of a 200 year old Ponderosa Pine, the place where our ceremony will be held.

Our Story

Ten years ago, our link in love's chain was forged by the qualities we both admire so much in one another: a quick wit, sharp tongue, and no opinion ever unexpressed. And now we’re here, ready to celebrate our marriage and embark on life's greatest journey together — accompanied by our favorite friend Eggplant. (He sends his regrets, as he will not be attending.)

Questions & Answers

  • Garden party attire. We want you to be comfortable, but please refrain from wearing jeans. You’re going to look great!

  • This is an adults-only event. We love your kids, but really want to celebrate with you! It’s our wish that you’re able to cut loose and enjoy the evening!

  • During early autumn in Oregon, expect warm, sunny afternoons & cool evenings. The colors are just starting to change on the trees, and temperatures can range from 50° - 80° F. Layers are encouraged!
